It was the bloodiest day for the Palestinians since 2014, as 55 people were killed and around 2,700 injured (Count announced by Health Ministry officials) by live gunshots, tear gas, and a sound grenade or by other hits. When, on Monday, the Israeli troops opened fires on the huge mob of Palestinian protesters on the Gaza border; opposing the glorious opening of the US embassy in the Jerusalem.

Benjamin Netanyahu; The Israeli Prime Minister indirectly advocated the act and described the Israeli military’s operation as a self-defense for his country’s borders. Further in his speech, Mr. Netanyahu appreciated Trump for “having the courage to keep your promises”.

Later on Monday evening, even the White House condemned the militant group Hamas for erupting high scale violence in Gaza, by approving Israeli military’s actions and saying Israel has full right to defend itself.

Although Donald Trump did not come to attend the embassy’s opening ceremony, but his daughter Ivanka Trump replaced him along with her husband Jared Kushner, who is a senior advisor to the president.

Kushner told reporters that the opening of the US embassy was an act of acknowledgment of the belief that Jerusalem is the real capital of Israel.

The US president Mr. Donald Trump has already made Jared Kushner, an unofficial in-charge over the Israel and Palestinians issue, he wants him to explore for a harmony agreement between Israel and Palestinians.

Whereas, according to Trump’s lawyer Mr. Rudy Giuliani, on real grounds of the Middle East, Peace between Israel and the Palestinians, is not the first priority for the trump government.

On the flip side of violent scenes in Gaza, the Israeli dignitaries and VIP guests marked their presence in the opening ceremony of the US embassy (which is relocated from Tel Aviv.) in the Jerusalem.

Foreign ministries in the UK, France and Egypt expressed concern about the violence. UK Prime Minister Theresa May’s spokesperson said: “We urge calm and restraint to avoid actions destructive to peace efforts.”

Unfortunately, The US embassy opening and Palestinian protests clashed with the 70th foundation anniversary of the Jewish state. When millions of Arabs were either escaped or were extruded during the 1948 war, which Palestinians refer to as the Nakba, or catastrophe.
