Sen. Bernie Sanders has joined Donald Trump in excoriating Amazon; the biggest e-commerce name in the states, saying he personally believes Jeff Bezos’ company has gotten too big to be analyzed closely.

The latest assault for Amazon is being contributed by Senator Bernie Sanders with his tweet on Monday “You know what Amazon paid in federal income taxes last year? ZERO” tweeted by Bernie Sanders 2:46 AM – May 1, 2018

Since long Amazon is dealing with extended criticism from various civic leaders who all share the same opinion that the e-commerce giant is not doing good enough for the community they are operating in. These civic leaders belong to a variety of organizations across several states of the country, including Illinois, New York, and Ohio.

Back in 2017, they altogether wrote a letter to CEO of Amazon, Mr. Jeff Bezos; stating some demands from this e-commerce giant. Highlights of demand list included; hiring of local people, an honest contribution in local taxes, and working with the local community to ensure that the people get benefited for letting this huge business operated in their cities.

There is a long list of names, who kept assaulting Amazon for various sins like not paying taxes, not contributing to society; exploiting US Postal services and many more. Mr. President, Donald J Trump, keeps a continuous eye on entire work mechanism, precisely on tax practices of Amazon in the USA. He is the one who is consistently tweeting against the big giant and highlighted various concealed issues publicly.

President Trump has doubled down his denunciation of the arrangement between the U.S. Postal Service’s & Amazon, as it’s known well that US post is offering a huge discount to Amazon for using their shipping services.

“Only fools, or worse, are saying that our money losing Post Office makes money with Amazon. THEY LOSE A FORTUNE, and this will be changed. Also, our fully tax paying retailers are closing stores all over the country…not a level playing field!” Donald J Trump tweeted on 7:05 PM – Apr 2, 2018

Last week again Mr. Trump verbally bombed the retailer, who are in tie-up with Amazon for paying “little or no taxes to state & local governments” and further added that the company manipulating “our Postal System as their Delivery Boy & contributes nothing to US government, instead causing huge loss to our country”. If calculated properly the USPS is losing an average of $1.50 on each delivery they make for Amazon. “This Post Office *scam* must stop. Tweeted by Donald J Trump.

“I have stated my concerns with Amazon long before the Election. Unlike others, they pay little or no taxes to state & local governments, use our Postal System as their Delivery Boy (causing tremendous loss to the U.S.), and are putting many thousands of retailers out of business!”

However, it’s not yet clear that what actions Mr. Trump has decided to take against Amazon’s business in the USA.
